DUE ARTI IN ARMONIA – OPERA COME STRICTLY

There is a brand new show coming to the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on Saturday 21st April and we are very excited about the event.

This is a show created by Andrew Amdur and Michael and Martina Burton combining the Two Arts, Ballroom with Opera and bringing it to the stage for the very first time. Andrew, who is one of the UK’s leading Operatic Tenors along with his daughter Anabella, who is a 9 year old up & coming Soprano, would like to join hands with International Professional Ballroom Dancing Champions Michael & Martina to take you into the passionate world of music & dance to show Opera & Ballroom Dancing in perfect Harmony.

The charismatic pair of Michael and Martina who are excellent choreographers and performers guarantee you a night out full of spectacular music, dance and entertainment.

Andrew has specially selected a firework of popular Operatic favourites and will be performing along side his daughter Anabella and joining up again with renowned Conductor Stephen Higgins.

This magical performance will be accompanied by a 16 piece Orchestra conducted by Stephen Higgins.

NEW Hampstead Class at Interchange Studios

We have a new Beginners class in Ballroom & Latin which we have started in October this year at Interchange Studios, Hampstead Town Hall Centre, 213 Haverstock Hill, London NW3 4QP. This will be running every Thursday from 7.30-8.30pm once we have the numbers for this class then we will let you know when it is starting again.

Monthly Social Practice Night

The next Sunday Social will be on Sunday the 15th January.  Hope to see you all there.

Every 3rd Sunday of the month at Kingston Dance Studio from 7-10.30pm. Canbury Park Road Kingston. This is a great way of you practicing the dances you are learning in your group classes.

Advanced Workshop

We are running Advanced workshops throughout the year the first one commenced on the 16th April last year at Quintin Kynaston School, Marlborough Hill, NW8 0NL from 10-2pm. It was based on Musicality in Waltz along with the following one on the 25th June where we continued the theme in Tango & finished off the year with Foxtrot & Quickstep.

We are continuing this year with the workshops as we love doing them for our students & we feel it helps people develop as dancers. The dates to put in your diaries for this year with the theme being ‘Movement, Power and Energy’ . .  .

Cruises

We will be on the Ventura for 17 nights from the 3rd July & 7 nights from the 1st September 2012.
